Networking Group Welcomes Newest Members

Event Specialty Group has expanded it's membership to include Cake Cottage (catagory cakes) and Lakeside Salon (catagory hair) We welcome Deb and Lynn to our marketing group.

Event Specialty Group was formed in the summer of 2010 by mesa county wedding professionals who are the best in their fields. By marketing together we are able to offer special events and products to our area that would not be possible individually.

Our first event was a Bridal Boot Camp in October, 2010. Our vendors presented potential brides with information to help them in their wedding  planning. Victoria Rose Bridal, along with Perfect Touch Make-up and Lakeside Salon  put on a fashion show with the latest gowns, hairstyles, and bridal make-up. Because of the networking, we were able to produce a show to rival a Paris runway presentation.

Our most recent project is a duel catalog due to be available in early January. Victoria Rose Bridal will present the new 2011 Maggie Sottero and Sottero & Midgely gowns that will arrive in the store in early January. Event Speciality Group is sponsoring the other half of the catalog and each individual company will present their specialty. This catalog will be available at the Bridal Fair January 15th at the Double Tree Hotel and at the individual businesses.

 In the January issue of Grand Valley Magazine many of our members have contributed to a beautiful bridal spread. Those participants where Monument View, Lifestyle Photography, Perfect Touch Make-up, Elite Events, Cake Cottage, Allen Unique Autos, Johnson's House of Flowers and Victoria Rose Bridal.
